K9COLA News & Events
Current park status: CLOSED
The park remains closed for safety reasons; there is a tremendous amount of dangerous debris (much hidden in sand), most fences are down, all are damaged, the park is not secure; there is no potable water.
Photos of the June flood at park are here.

Next K9COLA meeting/park update is Wednesday 8/27 at 5:45 in Meeting Room B at the Marion Library. Please join us!

Check the Events page for this summer's Dogs' Nights Out at Starbucks!

Welcome to K9COLA's Web site! We are the User's Group for the Cheyenne Park Off-Leash Area, a Cedar Rapids city park where dogs with permits are allowed to run and play without being leashed. Please explore our pages to learn more about the dog park, an 18-acre playground where people can enjoy their canine companions, and about K9COLA, and all the great reasons to get involved!

K9COLA and the Cheyenne Park OLA are in Cedar Rapids, Iowa -- but you don't have to be from Cedar Rapids to enjoy our great dog park. It's open 365 days a year, and you can get an annual permit, good for unlimited visits, for less than the price of a night at the movies, or, if you're just visiting, a daily pass that will give you and your pooch a chance for a little fun and socializing while you're in the area.

Thanks to Corey Stone for his design services on our Web site (©2003).
