The bulk of the Cheyenne Park Off-Leash Area was destroyed by flooding in the summer of 2008, but it has now been restored with funds from FEMA. All dogs and their owners are encouraged to come out and play! The city is again providing  maintenance and volunteers are always needed to help with emptying trash containers. Please Note:  Permits and tags (or daily passes) for the Cedar Rapids off-leash dog parks are now once again required, but only one permit is necessary for Cheyenne and the new park being built.
